Greatest Hits
(Eleven Seven Music - 2011)

Another compilation of Mötley Crüe, they had an album called Greatest Hits in 1998 - and some other compilations in the mean time. Well, at the end of the day everyone has to made up his / her mind, if another best-of compilation is worth spending money for. Personally I like to have the songs chronologically, coz it shows well the developing of a band, so this suits me well. What confuses me a bit is that it seems that this compilation was released in North America in 2009, guess it has to do with rights... But as Saints Of Los Angeles was their last studio album, it covers their whole career and stays to the original songs, only The Animal In Me is a remix.
No need to talk about the songs in detail, coz every fan will know the hits. 19 songs and 78+ minutes music - so, just enjoy the album!

Track list:

01. Too Fast For Love
02. Shout At The Devil

Saints Of Los Angeles

Saints Of Los Angeles
(Motley Rec. - 2008)

With this single Mötley Crüe returns with some new songs and give a short glimpse of what to expect from the coming album. Saints Of Los Angeles is the title track of the coming album and the appetizer. The four-some is back in their legendary line-up and somehow you can feel that the chemistry is right. A fast rocker which sounds like Mötley Crüe, even if a more modern then their hits, but catchy. From the first note you know this is Mötley Crüe! Sure, it's Vince Neil's voice, but also the vibe the track has sounds so familiar. It's fun to listen and kinda revives the 80's.
With this single they should be able to raise some interest in the album and if this song stands for the whole album, then the Crüe is back to attack!
