Fans of blackend death metal might know the Chilean band Atomicide which started back in 2003 and has released several demos, EPs and 2 full-length albums.
Now they are back with a 2-track vinyl EP called Furious And Untamed. They storm off with fast riffs and deep growls into the title track. The sound is clear, powerful and devastating. The trio varies and offers breaks into more mid-paced passages, rooted in the 80's/90's death metal from South America with a dash of thrash metal.
Side B is Flagellant Rust, a song which rolls over you and leaves you in pieces. Brutal, mean and tormenting. This time they stay longer at mid-tempo death metal, but soon head into more black-ish fast-driven parts. The sound of stormy winds leads you out of this vinyl.
