The Late Hours

The Late Hours
(High Roller Records - 2012)

Good old fashioned punk floats out of the speakers when Vladimirs from USA starts up their engine. On their 5th album they continue with punk and hard rock mixed together, and some of the songs could really deserve a closer examination to get new fans to the band. Already good represented on YouTube with Last Song For The Lost and also Zombie Eyed Youth the punks are well established during the last 16 years with their very own kind of punk. The opening song, Last Song For The Lost is fast speedy punk with lots of kick-you-in-the-face attitude and sublime guitar play. Zombie Eyed Youth comes to you with power and aggression, this song is their signature song on their homepage via Hell Headbangers and it has a catchy way of getting into your mind. City Of The Living Dead has a gothic image but it is still the rocking pumping punk rhythms that dominates the horror punk from Vladimirs on this song. Their best song is placed in the end of the album, Missing Time is extremely well done in super hard rock guitars and a punk attitude that really saves the album from drowning.
