When I first got this album I had no idea what to expect and so I was curious to listen to. Out of my speakers some kind of heavy rock with it's origin in the 70's, some stoner rock and some... Whatever came out. The Swedish quartet already released an album called Music For The World Beyond in 2000/2001 through Meteor Music / People Like You / JVC. The album offers 10 heavy rock tunes and to give you an idea listen to My Vote Is Blank and Tree Of No Hope. Some might think I heard this voice before, right! Spice is also the singer / bassist of Spiritual Beggars, another Swedish act. But The Mushroom River Band is his main band and there they have Saso on bass. The Swedish bring the mood and the energy of the 70's heavy rock alive in an modern sound. This stuff is not just for metal heads, it's also for open-minded rock fans! Give it a try and find out, if this is your cup of tea!
