The Embodied

The Embodied
(Pure Steel Records - 2011)

Sweden has produced many good bands and here is another new shot from the hip. The Embodied are fresh in their playing style, not so many world-shocking ways to do it, but they know their business. Plain power metal of high class from the new band. It starts with a beautiful intro Prometheus Flame so everybody gets warmed up. Heaven Burns Tonight break down the doors to your room and they stand in the door with dishes of metal leaded and heavy, great power and riffs for you. Shedding Skin raises the level with super powerful metal with lots of attitude. Light Of The Storm is melodic and picks you up if you are not concentrated, this song rocks and kicks. Born From Shadows is the last song but the best one on this debut album. Controlled super melodic surprising power metal from their musical creative metal heads, this is really good stuff.
