You And Your Revolution

You And Your Revolution
(Edge Records - 2009)

The Hungarian band Superbutt is presenting their 4th album and even if I always wondered why they choose this name, it's kinda funny. Musically the band is offering alternative rock with a dash Nu metal. And on their latest piece of work they are sounding more professional and simply rock! The guitar play is varying and the unique vocals do the album good. Especially rockers like Blister and Gone Far will rock you. But they also have some calmer stuff on the album, for example at Lift Her. Just touching. An earthy rocker is White Nails which Lemmy Kilmister couldn't have done any better. Straight forward rock and metal songs Superbutt offer. I should add that there aren't just highlights, so the title track lacks some inspiration... Luckily there aren't too many songs like that. For Last Call they could hook up Zak Tell (Clawfinger). I can just recommend to check out this album, give the Hungarian talents a chance.
