Last year When 20 Summers Pass were released it should be the last album, but a little later Ray Cappo learnt that there are more songs, ideas inside him which have to see the light of day... On The Purpose, The Passion.... Shelter follow their chosen way and offer 14 melodic punk-core tracks. The album opener True North is a typical Shelter track and is representative for the album.
Some members of Shelter's current line-up, left the band and now returned, so the harmony inside the band was there from the first moment. New in the Shelter line-up is rhythm guitarist Sri who was asked to join for a tour in Japan and due to the positive reactions the band ask her to join them. She did and is now part of the band, but this doesn't change the sound of the band!
