Seremonia

Seremonia
(Svart Records - 2012)

Black metal from Finland and to make it more black they sing in their own language. That gives it a twist together with the experimenting rock in 70's style Seremonia also serve on their debut album. Singer Noora Federley sounds like she is also in the 70's and has not found out about the situation nowadays in the music world, voice not being sharp enough etc. But to come to the point Seremonia has a good deal of talent for light psychedelic metal and some songs should be given a chance, Kosminen Ruumisvaunu, hard rock of the old school style that has some bite in it, great guitars and engagement here. Antikristus 666 gets the slow hard rock pinpointed in the good Finnish black metal scale, that also deserves another listen.
Seremonia makes special music, but I'm very much looking forward to what they can do on their next album.
