Every Saviour Machine album is value for money, same this time. The band present long epic songs on this 3rd part of the trilogy Legend. What to expect from a band like Saviour Machine? Well, Intensive, emotional choirs, well arranged monumental songs with a slightly oriental touch. Exactly that!

And that's what the Christian epic rockers serve their fans. Some might think that it's too depressive, others that it's too lengthy or too bumptious. Anyway, I always liked this band, coz their music is full of emotions, pain, bitterness and charisma. And above all that the unique voice of Mr. Clayton who tells his theories and point of view about the contemporary history. The 3rd part of the Legend trilogy is another musical highlight of Saviour Machine and is what their fans are longing for. Even if some middle parts like at Revelation 13 are a little monotonous and extremely complex. Or does anybody expected something else from Mr. Clayton & co? I don't think so!

Legend Part I

This is the long-awaited third release of the Christian metal band from California. I was euphoric to get the new album Legend Part 1 - which is the unofficial soundtrack for the end of the world - and so I learnt that I was too enthusiastic. Sure, Saviour Machine didn't deliver a bad album, but 77 minutes after the first note of Overture came out of my speakers, I can say that this is a pretty good album. But personally I think that it can't compete with their first 2 releases. Eric Clayton has a God-given talent and is a front man extra-ordinary, but Legend lacks a larger musical variety.
