The debut album from the new band is ready, the Cyprus guys have made a huge effort to click their way into the sound of 80's heavy metal with everything from that period - anvils, fantastic powerful basic rhythms, heavy songs so your ears bleed in astonishment. It starts with The Thunder Rolls, a classical metal song, fine in the structure and great refrain. Metal Child is also heavy in the old fashioned way and great listening, In The Streets Of Rock'n'Roll is also great guitar work and a perfect rhythm section. Straight To The Top is good and honest metal that most people like, if they like metal music as a genre. The final song is Forged In The Fire Of Metal that gives us a soft melodic and hard sound that really hits the classical heavy metal music as it should be. It is really a great debut album, but the weak point of the whole thing is the vocalist Tasos Karonias. His voice is simply not build for singing metal songs, and it's very strange that he can be at the microphone because it gives the songs a push in the wrong direction when they are performed by a singer that is not fully up to the task. But the music is great anyway.
