Well, I'm not into grindcore, so this is a challenge for me to review this album. The Swedish quintet got called by Riff Magazine "Sweden's greatest grindcore band ever!"
Starting with a conversation between a woman and a man (Drowning In Filth) then the first track explodes in fast grind with mean vocals screams before some spoken words end this one and lead into the following song Embrace Obscenity. The four-some offer a hyper-fast blast attack with 27 songs and a running time of 32:09 minutes! Merciless ultra-grind is what you hear on this disc. Blind Fiends Of Chaos is partly slower then the rest of the material, but at then end speeds up again. Actually for me it ain't easy to hear big differences between the songs, but I guess that's just because I'm not into this type of music....
The album was recorded at Soundlab Studios and is produced by Mieszko Talarczyk - produced Nasum and Genocide Superstars in the past. It was mastered by Scott Hull who is known for his work with Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Pig Destroyer. The right combination for a good grindcore production.
