Rock'n'Roll Revival

Rock'n'Roll Revival
(Frontiers Records - 2012)

Loverboy is back with Rock'n'Roll Revival, an album with 3 new tracks and 9 re-recordings of Loverboy classics.

The opener is the title track, a hard rock tune with space keyboards and a catch hook line. With No Tomorrow they created a great rock song which would sound great as an acoustic version or country rock style. The last one of the new ones is Heartbreaker, a rock tune with a slight pop appeal - and a great guitar line.

Classics like Turn Me Loose sound fresh and are pure fun. The Canadians recorded quite a few great rock tunes through the years, but Bryan Adams have always been more successful... perhaps due to his unique voice while singer Mick Reno is a great singer, but without this unique voice... Anyway, fans of Loverboy's tunes will enjoy the album, coz it's a great best-of album spiced up with 3 new tracks!
