The Russian band Horizon 8 was founded in 2006 in Saint Petersburg. They soon released a demo and in 2007 their debut. This 1-track single is an appetizer for the coming album. The track's title means sand - and that fits well to the cover.
The kick off with heavy, but melodic riffs and speed up a little later. They play melodic power metal with some thrashy riffs and death metal elements. The guys use powerful clean vocals and backings, but also growls which give the track an aggressive edge. But they also have a progressive element in their sound. A very powerful sound with varying elements - very interesting!
