Hierophant are from Italy and were founded in 2009 to leave a mark on the 'Blackened Nihilistic Hardcore Scene'! That's how their label Demons Run Amok describes it in the biography for the band's debut. They offer 10 dark songs full of aggression and anger, full of bitterness and despair. Musically they combine up-tempo hardcore with a dash of death'n'roll spiced up with short blast parts, a lot of black metal feeling, but also offer some monotonous sludge parts. And singer Carlos adds some insane vocals full of hate and with the grinding monolithic riffs they make this album a ruthless and dark aural pleasure. Fans of Ringworm, Integrity, Cursed, Trap Them, Disbelief and Catharsis should give it a try, you'll dig this hateful piece of music!
