The Altar Of Sculpted Skulls - Lars Bjørn - 8 stars

The Altar Of Sculpted Skulls

The Altar Of Sculpted Skulls
(Pulverized Records - 2012)

Bass player Junkarn is the man behind some of the most intense growl in today's death metal. The voice he supplies gives the thrills to everyone who lay their fate in Graveyards hands. Impressive mini album from Spain's high rollers on the death metal scene, 6 songs with humor and accuracy delivered so hard and precise that the result is very amazing. An Epitaph Written In Blood has both dark and doom oriented rhythms to back up perfectly for this monster effect the voice of Junkarn gives to the song, a sublime and well written song. The Altar Of Sculpted Skulls has speed of no mercy, tons of power to create death metal at its best. Cult Of The Shadows means that they say, a dark, scary song filled with great guitar sounds and spirits. Ritual gets the slower metal represented with lots of doom metal of top quality. Howl Of The Black Death makes the thunder come in the most melodic and hard entity to come from Spain. Perfect way to test the speakers ability to survive.
