Anybody out there expect punkabilly from Denmark? And what's punkabilly? These 4 crazy Danish do punkabilly, their roots are rockabilly and punk rock and these mixture is punkabilly! With Smile! they release their 4th album! Now you might ask why the hell I never heard of them... Well, they are known in a certain scene and toured several times in Europe and the USA! But these days many bands are push the limitations of genres as much as they can and the fans are no longer limited to a genre. Some might remember the Stray Cats, these is a harder version of them with a punk attitude. Listen to Liar a song which is typical for GWC. Music with a positive vibe which might explain why they toured the West Coast... Some tracks have a little bit of the California sound, others have a bluesy touch...
Not the usual stuff for metal fans, but with their positive vibe a good choice to party this summer!
