Anders Johansson from HammerFall and for Stefan Elmgren, formerly of HammerFall is the backbone of FullForce who are now releasing their second album as follow up to the first album, One, from 2011. Unfortunately they mix pop rock with heavy metal in a way that gives priority to the pop sound, something they should have avoided in my view. Experienced as they are there should be a more direct path for them to travel on. But everyone chose their own style, and Broken Dreams brings a swinging kind of hard heavy metal, enjoyable but nothing more. Back To Life is one of the best songs on the album, melodic mix of hard rock and heavy metal where they hit right buttons. Whispers is very inspired by Swedish band Europe, a forceful heavy metal killer track. Course Of Life gives the listener good and full hearted heavy metal that has a touch of Saxon about it, a good guitar solo and well created. Awesomeness is also in the hard category fist first heavy metal that point the steady direction for FullForce. Interesting to see what they have in mind for the future.
