Heaven, Home, Hell

Heaven, Home, Hell
(Demons Run Amok - 2010)

The Görlitz hardcore outfit Feet 1st released a mini-CD in 2007 and early 2010 they signed a deal with Demons Run Amok. Musically the fivesome offers angry hardcore sounds spiced up with thrash and death elements. They combine aggro shouts with growls which gives them a fat and brutal sound, but the guitars are forcing them ahead at all 10 tracks. You'll get everything you expect from hardcore incl. gang shouts, double-bass drumming, fat downbeats and staccato riffing. Additionally some fast hardcore attacks á la Madball and Sick Of It All - all full of anger. Feet 1st are hitting the bulls eye and give a statement against right-wings. Check out Stuttgard Calling and Widerstand and you'll get an idea. The lyrics are in German and English, and they combine it within the songs. Sometimes it doesn't really fit and sounds a bit clumsy. Dead Or Alive shows this perfectly, especially the rap part seems out of place. Even if this debut isn't perfect, so they delivered a decent piece of work. Fans of hatecore should check out the Görlitz guys!
