Hasta La Victoria Siempre

Hasta La Victoria Siempre
(Rocksector Records - 2011)

British quartet Falling Red is out to conquer sleaze rock fans around the world. Their music is full of energy and will be even better live. You can imagine them playing in a small club...

They kick off the EP with Come On Down, a sleaze rock tune based on a heavy riffs. The backing vocals are delivered in a gang shout way and give it an 80's feel, but it's the lead vocals and lead guitar which will hook you up. With My Little Vice they offer a powerful rocker which make me think of bands like Skid Row, Spread Eagle, LA Guns and Love/Hate... The Last Kiss Goodbye is a balladesque one which seems to have a dash of Mötley Crüe - and again Skid Row - in it. The closer is called Ain't Down With The Rock, an up-tempo rocker. The lyrics are a bit repetitive, but perfect to shout a long... Even after a few drinks.

If you are into one of the above mentioned bands, head over to their MySpace and check out this EP!
