Pressure

Pressure
(Cream Rec. - 1994)

Heavy stuff from Osnabrück (Germany). At least everybody who knows their debut will be aware after listening to the album opener Back To Prison that this album is much heavier then the previous release. The song structure is better and differ. So songs like Who's My God? sound even more powerful this time and the bass parts are really heavy. A good album, but what shall I write about a killer power metal album from Germany, if some business guy signs the band, but don't support them!?!? The band got offers to support Skyclad and Grave Digger, but no chance to support their album live and so another great piece of metal will get dusty... Anyway, Pressure deserves a high rating!

F.O.T.H.
(Shark Rec. - 1993)

Hurray! Great power metal from Germany! More exactly from Osnabrück. The band Enola Gay is presenting their debut album which is called F.O.T.H.
The German quintet is combining melody with catchy riffing and musically the band is based somewhere between Sacred Warrior and Mystik. The weak spot of the album is the track Close-Cropped-Head which lacks the quality of the other tracks. But with the next track - Bad News - they make you forget about this filler. A quite good debut album from the quintet. Check out: Spectrum Of Colours and Doomwatch.
