These days everybody is releasing a DVD. So master Dio had to do it as well and now the DVD Evil Or Divine is in the stores.

The esteem of a DVD is much higher then on a regular CD and so a DVD isn't equal to any other DVD. So, what do you get for your money?

First of all the DVD has 14 live tracks plus a guitar and drum solo. Also there is the promo;tion clip for Push. Beside that there is a picture gallery of photos fans did, a long interview with Ronnie James Dio where he talks about the different aspects of music and many more. The fans also can take a look behind the scenes and get an inside look on what's going on back­stage and in a way take part during the sound check.

Resume: A good mixture of live material and bonus stuff.

Look who's singing!?! Time is flying. In 1998 there was the release of the double live CD and now he's back with a new studio album. For the collectors should be mentioned that the limited edition has the complete story of Magica. Watch out for it!

Master Ronnie James Dio sings in his unique way and got joined by some musicians he worked with before, e.g. drummer Simon Wright who played on the 1990 release Lock Up The Wolves. Keyboarder Scott Warren is part of the band for years and bassist Jimmy Bain already got credits as co-writer on albums like Holy Diver and Last In Line. Craig Goldy on guitars add outstanding solos, fat rhythm parts and great melody lines and it ain't necessary to introduce him.

On Magica are 13 tracks about the Good and the Bad. Mr. Dio thinks that the story ain't easy to follow and so he decided to add the story as a monologue at the end of the album. Total running time is about 72 minutes, even if the spoken story is about 20 min. long, this is a good portion of music.

DIO offers all kinds of songs, faster ones as well as slow tunes and some ballads like As Long As It's Not About Love. So, nobody can complain, right?
