First Depression

First Depression
(G.U.N. Records - 1992)

Well, I just got this 1992 release as a bargain and as someone mentioned them to me, I thought I just grab this copy.
This is the debut album of the progressive thrashers from Germany - as the title indicates... First Depression. The band of singer Jan Lubitzki and guitarist Jochen Klemp offer thrashy metal with some progressive elements and a bit doom.... Guitar-based heaviness! The guys didn't care about anything and so their music can't be categorized.
Producer Harris Johns was involved in this powerful production. Especially the guitars and the vocals are on a high level. Singer Jan Lubitzki covers the whole spectrum from whining, yelling, shouting to ramblings. This guy sounds like a lunatic!
Just pick any track to get an idea about Depressive Age, but I can just recommend to buy it when you get the chance! You won't be disappointed!
