View The Dawn EP

View The Dawn
(self-released - 2010)

Spoken words lead into a riff-based tune called Ancient Astronauts. Slowly monolithic riffs come over you... The song is full of sadness and if you are already feeling down, this will make you depressive! After On The Brink they start View The Dawn with spoken words. A bit 'faster' as the previous song - at least partly - they present another song full of despair, at least it sounds like that. If you think that Zakk Wylde is sounding heavy, then listen to Dead Languages' Martin! Even if the songs are based on the same ingredients, they band offers variations. At the end of View The Dawn they'll surprise you. You want to know how, then just listen to the tune! The closer is called This World and once again they add a surprising element at the end of the song. Sounds almost like a digiridu, but it's probably just estranged vocals...
The EP is available via World Mover Doom Records.
Twenty Twelve is another doom monster and will soon be available on an upcoming split 7" which will be released via Obscenity Cult Records.
Dead Languages celebrate their doom, they honor Black Sabbath, but also other less known bands.
